Nowadays companies participate in global markets, facing competitive conditions that are affected by market changes and the requirements for companies to stay competitive in these markets. Because of this, Obtain and keep competitive advantages are becoming essential to organization. For this reason it is necessary to diagnose at some point, the role played by the suppliers and customers in the supply chain that could lead to competitive advantages for companies of the food manufacturing sector, derivatives from sugar. This article proposes direct the development of the competitiveness strategy for the integration of the supply chain to build a valid hypothesis, possible to demonstrate in business studies and covering how logistics has neglected with this topic than can have successful results in a company. The technique used to collect data focused on the search for specialized literature on the subject through academic databases, reviewing how literature has addressed the key aspects of the management of the supply chain, comparing it with the assumptions of author, reviewed during her experience as a consultant for international business.
