The wind power appears as a technical and economic alternative with possibilities of being implemented in zones where for its energetic needs and meteorological characteristic this technology is possible. The basic parameters for the behaviour of the atmospheric wind in the boundary layer study are related later, as a random stationary process and in conditions of neutral atmosphere. With base in the previous thing there is established in this work the procedure that must follow during a process of simulation of the atmospheric wind by means of the determination of the spectral density function (PSD) that should bring near the intensity of turbulence of the wind speed. Making use of the wind generator simulator, who is in the mechanical engineering laboratory at Los Andes University, the velocity profiles of the measured and simulated wind are programmed, comparing in each case the generated power.
