This research arises from the question: How do circles of literary reading enable autonomy and creativity from poetry and tales? and is supported on the postulates of authors such as Paulo Freire, Fernando Barcena, Clara Cuervo, Juan Gelman, Jorge Larrosa, Vigotsky, Michel Petit, Graciela Montes, Krishnamurty, Michael Foucault, to name a few. A series of activities were carried out, aimed at questioning the participants in the face of their own reality, discovering what lies within them from the inside out while transforming this praxis in a creative exercise, fostering the appropriation and increasing awareness through the recognition of the autonomy capacity in an emancipation process. It is a research work of a qualitative nature, with an educational collaborating action research focus and the participation of sixteen people who are part of the adults training program at the Waldorf social and educational corporation. The humanist guidelines in its pedagogy are the main characters in this research, as they enrich the praxis in each of its stages and execution. The data collection tools were the interview to an expert and field journals. This work was developed during six two-hour meetings, from which results went beyond the expectations of researchers and required of them a better preparation concerning the selection of activities, materials and scenarios used in each session.
