TÉCNICA DE OPTIMIZACIÓN COMBINATORIAL APLICADA AL DISEÑO DE REDES DE COMUNICACIÓN POR CABLE Combinatorial Optimization Technique for Cable Communication Network Design
This paper presents a specialized genetic algorithm to solve the problem of cable communication network design with the purpose of minimizing the investment cost. The mathematical model of this problem is a mixed integer non linear programming problem (PNLEM) with a combinatorial explosion of the number of possible topologies. The methodology proposed using a specialized genetic algorithm is probed in a real life test system.
