Este artigo tem o objetivo de relatar as ultimas palavras do Padre Comblin acerca do Caminho e de como fazer para continuar a fidelidade no seguimento de Jesus. O ponto de partida para sua elaboracao foi o encontro entre o Grupo de Peregrinas e Peregrinos do Nordeste – GPPN e o Padre Comblin, alguns meses antes de fazer sua passagem, ocorrida no dia 27 de marco de 2011. O metodo utilizado foi o etnografico, que possibilitou a vivencia, a observacao, bem como, a descricao detalhada de peregrinacao com o GPPN (utilizando o Diario de Peregrinacao) e encontro com o Pe. Comblin, ocorrido na peregrinacao a beira do Rio Sao Francisco, em julho de 2010. Identificou-se o Pe. Comblin como grande amigo do povo peregrino e por isso muito carinhoso conosco que faziamos peregrinacoes pelo Nordeste. Chamou-nos atencao o testemunho da sua vida, correspondendo a eficacia evangelica, na luta para melhorar as condicoes de vida do povo; a gratuita presenca solidaria no meio popular gerando processos libertadores, alimentando e dando consistencias a lutas economicas e politicas. Abstract This paper will report the latest words of father Comblin about Jesus's path and how to do to continue to faithfully following him. The starting line for it was the meeting between the Group of Pilgrims and pilgrims of the Northeast-GPPN and Father Comblin few months before his passing, that took place on March 27, 2011. The method we used was the ethnographic way which give the experience, observation, as well as the detailed description of pilgrimage with the GPPN (using the diary of a pilgrimage) and meeting with the Comblin. This meeting occurred in the pilgrimage on the riverside of the Sao Francisco River, in July 2010. Father Comblin was identified as friend of the pilgrim people and so very loving with the Northwest's pilgrimages. It is important the testimony of his life, corresponding to Evangelical effectiveness in the fight to make better the living conditions of the people. He did get sympathetic presence inside the people encouraging the struggle for economic and political improvements.
