Turismo rural comunitario y cultivos energéticos: factores de complementariedad y conflicto en el desarrollo rural de América Latina. Casos: Colombia, Perú, México
Colombia, Peru and Mexico are countries classified as megadiverse, receivers of tourism focused on nature and the rural environment; the objective of this paper is to determine the factors complementary and/or conflict within the framework of the concept rural, sustainable rural development and the principles of Ecological Economics in policies to promote the Rural Community Tourism (CRT) and the production of energy crops (EC) in the region of Latin America; for this purpose, analyzed selected countries and evaluated in terms of social, economic, political and environmental. The main conclusion is: both TRC and EC must be part of the biggest projects in rural development public policy in the countries of the region. Besides, main actors must be local and indigenous communities. This conjunction around the rural community has complementary or dilemmas factors in the process of developing this plan.
