Introduction: disseminated bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) mycobacterial infection after inoculation is a rare disorder mainly appearing in immunocompromised patients. Clinical case: a case where an adverse reaction, defined as generalized or disseminated “BCGitis” is presented in a three-month infant patient who started suppuration in the vaccine zone. The patient presented recurrent infectious charts and left regional lymphadenitis. Conclusions: clinical course and immunologic assessment suggest a congenital immunodeficiency. DeCS: Infection; Mycobacterium bovis; BCG vaccine.
