RESUMEN. Este trabajo surge de la necesidad de monitorizaren tiempo real los equipos de ayudas a la navegacion aerea en el Aeropuerto Palonegro de Bucaramanga, para mantener un control constante de cada uno de ellos. Ante esta problematica, este articulo se concentra en la Televigilancia, la cual es un servicio de tiempo real que proporciona una gran variedad de posibles aplicaciones combinando la interactividad y la multimedia. El termino Televigilancia se define como un conjunto de sistemas que permiten la supervision y el control desde una central de monitoreo, de una o varias instalaciones tecnicamente aisladas o distribuidas geograficamente. Para incorporar este servicio en el Aeropuerto Palonegro de Bucaramanga se r ealizo un estudio previo de la infraestructura fisica y tecnologica y sus capacidades, se analizo el entorno de trabajo y las tecnologias de transmision. En este articulo se describe el diseno de la red inalambrica de televigilancia, indicando claramente los pasos a seguir por la Aerocivil, para instalar este servicio aprovechando la infraestructura actual y permitiendo, al mismo tiempo, una proyeccion a futuro. Igualmente se sientan las bases para determinar los elementos y parametros de red necesarios para definir estrategias a la hora de implementar este servicio. Befare this problem the article concentrates since on the Televigilancia it is a service of real time that provides a great variety of possible applications that they combine the interactive and the multimedia services. The term Televigilancia is defined as a group of systems that they allow the supervision and the control from a monitoring power station, of a several technically isolated facilities or distributed geographically. To incorporate this service in the Airport Palonegro of Bucaramanga it was carried out a previous study of the physical and technological infrastructure and their capacities, it was analyzed the work environment and the transmission technologies. This article described the design and the bases to determine the elements and necessary net parameters to define strategies when implementing the service of Televigilancia taking advantage ofthe current infrastructure and allowing, at the same time, a projection to future. This design indicated the steps c1early to continue for the Aerocivil, to install this service.
