La falta de estrategias para la prevencion y promocion en materia de salud sexual y reproductiva se presenta como un importante problema de salud en Colombia. Con el objetivo de describir el estado actual de las practicas sexuales de riesgo en Colombia; se realizo una revision bibliografica que conto finalmente con 31 referencias. Se concluyo que: la edad promedio a la cual los jovenes estan iniciando su vida sexual ha bajado considerablemente; estas practicas podrian estar relacionados con diversas variables como el estado socioeconomico, la raza, el acceso a salud, entre otras. El conocimiento no siempre transforma la conducta, y en ocasiones las personas con practicas sexuales que se consideran riesgosas, son las mas informadas sobre el tema. ABSTRACT The lack of strategies for the prevention and promotion as regards sexual and reproductive health shows up as an important problem of health in Colombia. With the objective of describing the current state of the sexual practices of risk in Colombia; a bibliographical revision that has 31 references was carried out. You concluded that: the average age to which the youths are beginning its sexual life has lowered considerably; these practices could be related with diverse variables as the socioeconomic state, the race, the access to health, among other. The knowledge doesn't always transform the behavior, and in occasions people with sexual practices that are considered risky, are the most informed on the topic.
