El siguiente articulo es un ensayo derivado de mi trabajo doctoral que se contextualizaen la formacion docente de musica en Colombia; propone algunos elementos quepueden resolver las necesidades de formacion del docente en musica. Aborda tresaspectos que en conjunto expone la problematica e intenta dar alternativas y opcionespara la formacion. En primer lugar se aborda la educacion musical como un hechosocial. En segunda instancia expone la problematica de la educacion superioren musica y la formacion de los docentes y la articulacion de esta con el mercadolaboral. Concluye con el planteamiento de tres aspectos desde el punto de vista de lafilosofia de la educacion que pueden contribuir a la formacion docente con estrategiaspara comprender de manera reflexiva y critica la educacion musical, su practica yensenanza. The following article is an essay derived from my doctoral work is contextualized inmusic teacher education in Colombia; proposes some elements that can meet theneeds of teacher training in music. It approaches three aspects that altogether theproblematic and to try to give to alternatives and options for the formation. In the firstplace the musical education like a social fact is approached. In second instance itexposes problematic of the higher education of the music and the teacher formationand the joint of this with the labor market. It concludes with the exposition of threeaspects from the point of view of the philosophy of the education that can contributeto the teacher training with strategies to understand of reflective and critical way themusical education, their practice and education.
