Ergonomics as a science is defined related discipline with understanding of interactions among humans and other elements of a system, handles all user adaptation in a given environment. Moreover, the industrial design is the discipline concerned with the determination of the formal and functional properties of industrially produced objects, that is, their physical attributes must be consistent with object’s function. For this reason the two disciplines must go hand in hand to the creation of new objects or to achieve determining whether a product contributes to the welfare, if it is functional and easy to use, especially when it comes to products that are constantly interaction with users.This research project aims to give people and organizations a VDT work-station checklist and its elements, which provide more assertive about the functional variables (ergonomics) and aesthetic-communicative variables (design) furniture for developed better in their day to day activities.
