In the theoretical framework the ideas about curriculum of Bermudez (2011) and Diaz Barriga (2003) are considered, the vision of curriculum design by Petrina (2007) and Rink (2008)are revisited, the concept of need proposed by Astika (1999) and Riart (2002) is included, the concept of needs analysis by Nunan (1988) and Fatihi (2003) is taken into account, and the definition of the Spanish as a foreign language teacher is taken from the Instituto Cervantes (2012) and Pizarro (2013). This research involves the members of the educational community who have a relation with foreign students. To fulfill the aims of the current analysis, the data collected through semi structural interviews and questionnaires was tabulated and analyzed. It is concluded that it is necessary to have a curricular tool that supports the learning and teaching process of Spanish as a foreign language inside the institution. It is recommended to delve into the structure of this curricular proposal in order to attend the needs related to Spanish as a foreign language.
