The solution to the internal armed conflict that the country has lived throughout many decades demands the political good–will as well as the corresponding normative framework, in order to forward a solid peace process that would assure the necessary guarantees for the re–incorporation of the illegally armed actors to civil life. This article expounds a series of juridical reflections around the proposals that have been presented, from within different sectors of the political arena, in order to forward a negotiation process with the outlawed armed groups; and it furthermore analyzes the consequences which the peace process could cause if it does not account with a normative framework that would guarantee its own success.
