the parking control systems play a key role in the context of the intelligent transportation systems. The availability of parking cells is very difficult for control it, which requires a monitoring system for send the available of the cell permanently to management system and allow a more efficient parking management. Microwaves are used for wireless transmission of signals, characterized by its low power consumption and directionality, are ideal for low range transmission of control signals based on protocols such as Bluetooth, Zigbee and Wi-Fi. In this paper we present a comparative analysis of these technologies in order to select the most appropriate to be used in the network of sensors required in the control system of cells of the parking lots.
