Este articulo subraya la importancia del concepto de Huellas de Africania, para dar cuenta de la permanencia de la diaspora africana en los imaginarios americanos, a traves de Chango, el gran putas de Manuel Zapata Olivella, dado que conlleva una mirada desde dentro de una etnia, en este caso la etnia africana. El estudio se basa en descubrir y analizar por capitulos las Huellas de africania, partiendo del proceso de genesis y elementos Iconicos del legado africano presentes en la obra, develados a traves de rasgos de identidad en los cantos, mitos, danzas, creencias magico-religiosas, entre otros, logran mantenerse gracias a la funcionalidad de la oralidad que apuesta a la memoria cultural de lo personajes, cuyas manifestaciones son medios comunicativos utilizados por la necesidad de dar a conocer el pasado que identifica a la etnia. Abstract: This article highlights the importance of the concept of traces of Africania, Under, to give an account of the permanence of the African diaspora in the imaginary american, through Chango, el gran putas, of Manuel Zapata Olivella, since it involves a view from within an ethnic in this case African ethnicity, in this case the african ethnic group. The study is based on discovering and analyzing by chapters the Footsteps of Africania under, based on the genesis process and iconic elements of the African heritage in the present work, unveiled by identifying features in the songs, myths, dances, magic-religious beliefs, among others, since they manage to stay to the functionality of orality that is committed to the cultural memory of the characters, whose expressions are communicative means used by the need to raise awareness of the past that identifies the ethnicity.
