Educational institutions, particularly universities, play an important learning, research, innovation and the inculcation of values and principles, promoting entrepreneurship and economics options for searching for their graduates. The human capital, formed and strengthened, will be driver of business competitiveness and sustainability, from the viewpoint of corporate social responsibility, becoming the academy, in organizational support, generating new opportunities and institutional challenges in each of the social processes, searching alternatives capable of promoting sustainable community development both internally and externally. This raises the sector of social economy as an economic and social alternative; there are various possibilities to promote entrepreneurship and business organization through its various organizational models. The solidarity economy venture can support a conscientious capitalist economy, improving the quality of life for their workers and their communities.The purpose of this paper is to provide information and reflection, by showing that there are available alternatives that help to mitigate the social pathologies of the capitalist mode of production.
