Análisis de las cadenas productivas hortofrutícola del sur de Bolívar: un análisis bajo el enfoque de la simulación prospectiva Analysis of fruit and vegetable supply chains in southern Bolivar analysis under the prospective approach to simulation
This research examines the supply chains belonging to the South of Bolivar (Colombia) under a holistic perspective, which will provide important information to justify the design of projects aimed at developing the region. Based on the concept prospective using system dynamics as a method of simulation, modeling acilitates linkages between stakeholders for further understanding of the causal relationships existing and decipher their behaviors. This article shows the reader the advantages of using the simulation prospective on agribusiness production chains, as a tool to further study and assessment of possible scenarios with a view towards building a prosperous future of an area. The results achieved in the preliminary study from the shackles of Mango, Avocado, Citrus, Yam and Guan, show that the investment alternatives in order to increase the yield and number of acres harvested have the greatest impacts focused on improving quality of the inhabitants of the region.
