This article is the result of a research process that depicts the paternal-filial identity upon the intergenerational transmission, related to the exercise of the youth fatherhood. The analysis is based on aspects such as family structure, relational dynamics in the family (father, mother, children), and socio-cultural aspects (context) immersed in the primary socializing models. The methodology used is a qualitative type, with a hermeneutical and historical approach. The instruments employed are as follows: biographical interview, family tree, and eco-map. The sample: 6 parents aged from 20 to 26 years old, 3 from the countryside region, and 3 from the urban area. The results are classified in the analysis of the family dynamics where the feelings, thoughts, and behavior are identified, alongside the changes and presence that the man establishes as a father in relation to parenting, filial, educational, and socio-cultural bonds transferred at the generational process. The conclusion is that the respondent fathers from the countryside region manifest few expressions of affection related to the feelings of love and care, at their bonds with their children. They focus towards the labors in the countryside, a thing that produces a strengthening of the affective bonds at the current fatherhood. As for the fathers of the urban sector, it is evident the abandonment of the biological father replaced by the surrogate father figure with a few affective bonds. A strong bond with their children is consolidated at the current fatherhood, with behaviors of affection and responsibility.
