PANCITOPENIA EN UN CANINO OCASIONADA POR LA ADMINISTRACIÓ N DE ESTROGENOS PARA EVITAR UNA PREÑEZ NO DESEADA PANCYTOPENIA IN A CANINE CAUSED FOR ADMINISTRATION OF ESTROGENS TO AVOID A NOT WANTED PREGNANCY
Objective. T o present the clinical case of a pancytopenia canine patient due to abuse of estrogens as birth-control method. Materials and methods. Canine patient of race Poodle 8 years old, which was taken to consultation because, presented decay, inappetence, petechial hemorrhages and hiphema. Results Once made anamnesis, physical and paraclinical exams as well as evolution of clinical diagnose was demonstrated exogenous estrogenic intoxication as definitive diagnosis.
