Defined in the law and current regulations, the accreditation is public and granted for institutions and programs to those who voluntarily are started the processes of self-evaluation and external evaluation aimed at achieving official recognition. The result of the accreditation process is, at best, a temporary recognition of the requirement of identifiable and verifiable factors as agreed by the academic community as indicative of high performance and guarantees adequate training for students.
