This paper is an analysis of the different technical intervention alternatives proposed by the community as proposal to the work defined by municipality to solve a problem of traffic in an intersection in Manizales (Colombia). It also discusses a proposed statement by the Secretary of Traffic and Transportation in the city, which is further evidence that being part of this administration apparently does not share as defined by the plan of action of the mayor. The analysis is based on existing information used for the design defined by the mayor at the beginning level, without involving any traffic simulation, or design, or any work budget. In general, the proposals are evaluated and compared with the proposal developed by Valuation Institute of Manizales.
