RESUMENDesde una perspectiva semiotica, los estudios de los objetos representan la adopcion de un enfoque multidisciplinario, el cual requiere que el punto de vista inicial sea pertinente y que ademas permita establecer los alcances del trabajo a realizar; por consiguiente, la aplicacion de un modelo que garantice un analisis que vaya mas alla de solo la descripcion de un objeto cotidiano como la herramienta de percusion (martillo) resulta un imperativo en la practica del investigador. En cuanto al marco metodologico, cabe senalar que para el analisis de la informacion seran considerados los modelos, tecnicas, instrumentos y lenguaje semiotico aportados por la Escuela de Altos Estudios de Ciencias Sociales de Paris, lo que permitiracentrarelinteresenelestudiodelasignificaciony,enespecial,lodispuestoparalainterpretacion de la programacion para la accion. Este articulo contiene parte de los resultados del proyecto de investigacion en el campo de lasemioticadelacultura,especificamenteenelanalisisdelempleodelmartillocomoobjetocotidiano y las practicas de uso que surgen de la interaccion sujeto-objeto, trabajo que se instaura al interior del grupo de investigacion Cultura y Narracion en Colombia (CUYNACO), perteneciente a la maestria en semiotica de la Universidad Industrial de Santander. Consequently, the application of a model that ensures an in depth analysis going beyond just the description of a daily object, like hammer, is imperative to the researcher’s enterprise.
