The transmission network expansion planning problem is solved for a unique future scenario. This paper aims to find an optimal network which does not present load shedding at any future variation of the generation. To find such network, multiple future generation scenarios must be analyzed, which takes this paper to analyze the implementation of extreme generation scenarios to the problem. The main objective is to observe how the network's new configuration and behavior will be like when generation variations take place. AMPL programming language with the solvers CPLEX and KNITRO are used to solve the problem.
