This article describes the design and implementation of a velocity control system for a hydrostatic transmission with a variable displacement pump and fixed motor hidraulic engine of the Oleoneumatic Laboratory at the Faculty of Fisico-mecanicas Engineering of the Universidad Autonoma de Bucaramanga. This control system maintains a constant velocity on the transmission with different loading conditions. It was implemented using Labview 7.0 and a NI6008-USB data acquisition device.
