This article discusses Strategic Management reflection on the success of SMEs as asource of solution to the problems faced by this particular type of companies, providedthey commit to adopt and practice. However, many SMEs do not, perhaps throughignorance or fear of change. But the truth is that SMEs require management, which shouldinclude indicators to assess and motivate managers reflection and interest in ensuring itsimplementation as part of business growth can also be seen as one of the reasons forpossible failure for not having made a serious commitment to strategic management. Thearticle poses a unique solution, but a set of them united under the CMI management andhighlights the need to be included in the short term. This article presents a qualitativeapproach. The research is analytical, with a documentary design on all actions that themanager and his colleagues may arise in organizations. In addition, SMEs are of great importance for covering over 70 % of all companies in Colombia. Where most of itsleaders may lack the necessary knowledge to handle. For this reason it is concluded thatallowing SMEs add value, to be more competitive in the market and be able to trace theactions with future visions
