El presente estudio apoyado en los aportes metodologicos y pedagogicos que ofrece la conceptualizacion de lectura, de motivacion y actitudes en el aula de clase, analiza e interpreta los motivos en torno a la practica lectora, en un grupo de estudiantes de primer semestre de la Fundacion Universitaria del Area Andina, a partir de un estudio descriptivo cualitativo. La muestra tuvo como criterios de inclusion a estudiantes universitarios de primer semestre matriculados en los programas de Enfermeria, Radiologia e Imagenes Diagnosticas, Diseno grafico, Mercadeo y Publicidad, Terapia Respiratoria, inscritos en la materia de Expresion y Comunicacion Humana, especialmente, estudiantes que manifestaron el deseo de participar en el estudio. La informacion se recolecto con la aplicacion de la estrategia de entrevista a grupos focales. Abstract his study relied on the methodological and pedagogical contribution soffered by the conceptualization of reading, motivation and attitudes in the classroom, analyze and interpret the grounds around there adding practice in a group of students from first semester of the Foundation University of the Andean Area, from a qualitative descriptive analysis. The sample had the inclusion criteria of first semester college students enrolled in Nursing programs, Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, Graphic Design, Marketing and Advertising, Respiratory Therapy, enrolled in the field of Expression and Human Communication, and especially students who wished to participate in the study.
