The study was realized in the Veterinary Medicine and Zoology Faculty with 97 people poblation, from which 57.7% are teachers and the 24.3%, are administratives. Work conditions were evaluated by the Lest method, doing adjustments suggested by researchers. The results had a grade (5 -6) belonging to middle discomfort, fatigue risk, referring to: security conditions, biological pollution, mental charge and chemical pollution. The health conditions were evaluated by the medical consult registers from the Social Security Institute of National University, in the first semester 1996, and the incapacity data from the occupational Health office of the University. The results found by means of morbidity indicate long frequency of osteomuscular illness, respiratory and infections. These pathologies could be associated with the work conditions mentioned. The intervention proposals to realize at short and middle term, are focused in security condition (fire risk) and in biological pollution (pathogenic microorganisms management inherent to the work done in the area of study).
