La crisis economica de la primera decada del presente siglo pasara a la historia como una crisis capaz de develar la marcada influencia de los fundamentos eticos que acompanan a la economia, y el imperativo que reviste el avanzar hacia una economia capaz de incorporar la solidaridad y la verdad como referentes clave para el logro de una economia mas justa y equitativa. En ello radica el planteamiento realizado por la Iglesia Catolica, a traves del Papa Benedicto XVI, en Carta Enciclica “ La Caridad en la Verdad ”, en la cual hace un muy importante y trascendente llamado a la reflexion sobre la economia, y advierte sobre los contenidos y la dinamica poco afortunada para los pobladores mas desprotegidos, a la que estaria llevando el actual arreglo de la economia mundial. ABSTRACT economic crisis of the first decade of the present century will be known throughout history as the one responsible for uncovering the marked influence of the ethical foundations underlying economy, as well as the consequences derived from the advancement towards an economy capable of incorporating solidarity and truth as key referents for the achievement of the most just and equitable outcomes. Here lies what was stated by the Catholic Church through the words of Pope Benedict XVI, in the Encyclical The Charity in the Truth, in which a definite call for reflection on the economy is made; also, there is warning on the contents and the not very appropriate dynamics set for the most unprotected inhabitants resulting from the current arrangements on the world economy.
