One of the most common problems that occur as a result of academic research is not to transcend the calculations, assumptions, and in general of all previous approaches to the validation and implementation, especially in the field of electronics. This paper presents the whole process of design, validation and implementation of a development board, with has the differentiating factor that it is a 100% Colombian design that meets high quality normativity of printed circuit boards ( PCBs from now on) from IPC, and the emphasis on developing a Touch Sensing application that provides a quality product that addresses issues of modern electronic design and large fields of applicability. The result of the development described above is not only an innovative product is also an academic and technologic tangible progress that evidences important issues of knowledge acquisition, design for manufacturing techniques and product prototyping, technology development and most importantly it generates the evidence and the chance of showing real technologic solutions for automation, control, ICT’s(Information and Communications Technologies) and many more possible areas that could involve high electronic design standards.
