Since the XVIII century, a new pedagogical model begins to consolidate: the selfstructuring model or New School. This new model differs from the Traditional School in terms of its basic ideas and new methods of transferring knowledge. The New School not only changes the way of teaching but also requires new spaces that facilitate knowledge acquisition. In this context, the analysis of four New School methodologies in the city of Cali (Waldorf method, Montessori Method, Etievan Method, and the method of Colegio Ideas) reveals how architecture may contribute to the consolidation of innovative educational processes.
