Vertigo is one of the most frequent reasons for medical consultation, the symptom most prevalent in people over 60 years (Hansson, 2007) and associated with high endolymphatic pressure, remains a common cause of disability. It is important to establish the utility of a vestibular test battery. The objectives were wont to characterize vestibular evaluation results in patients with dizziness and balance disorders associated with high endolymphatic pressure, using history, vestibularscreening, examination of video oculography and self-assessment questionnaire disability from vertigo. We used descriptive and correlational method, using univariate and multivariate analysis, with the technique of multiple correspondences. The population was 14 adults (18-83 years old), with high endolymphatic pressure confirmed by positive electrocochleography endolymphatic hydrops (Delta greater than 40%). It was found that 86 % of patients tested are associated with classic Meniere’s disease and 14% to dissociated vestibular hydrops. High endolymphatic pressure right ear and left ear are associated with caloric hyporeflexia stimulation with cold air caloric unilateral weakness and asymmetry. Electrocochleography is evidence that clinical significancefor the evaluation and diagnosis of endolymphatic pressure high. There was a high average level of disability from vertigo, with greater involvement in physical subscale, in grade IV. The battery of tests applied is useful in the evaluation of patients with high endolymphatic pressure. Keywords: vertigo, Meniere disease, audiology, vestibular function tests.
