A model of international business must begin with the necessity of improve the enterprises in Colombia, in order to prepare them for the globalization process. Although many foreigners and Colombian researchers have taken the export process as the first step to internationalize the companies, this can not be the only way to succeed in the international market but must begin with a historical context with the only goal to develop a proper scenarios. According to this, the enterprise has to fortress the internal development of the company in order to prepare it to compete on international markets with enough capacity to achieve the goals which the market proposes. Only through these useful tools for the international development of the PYMES in Colombia will succeed the challenge which implies a Free Trade Agreement
