To control the coffee berry borer Hypothenemus hampei (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) during 1999 and 2000, parasitoids of African origin Prorops nasuta (Hymenoptera: Bethylidae) and Cephalonomia stephanoderis (Hymenoptera: Bethylidae) were released in coffee farms in the northern region in the department of Narino in La Union, Buesaco and San Jose de Alban municipalities. In order to evaluate the establishment of these parasitoids after 8 years of their release, the level of infestation of the coffee berry borer and the practice management of cultivation by farmers in each farm was estimated, as well as, the presence of released parasitoids and the percentage of parasitism. These evaluations were carried out during the main harvest of the year 2007. For the analysis of information, a multiple correspondence analysis and a descriptive analysis were performed. The P. nasuta parasitoid, was found * Fr: 19-VIII-2011. FA:19-X-2011. 1 Facultad de Ciencias Agricolas, Universidad de Narino, Torobajo, Pasto.
