The human vulnerability and dependence are factors to take into account when reflecting on those necessary goods to access to liberty and happiness in the social world. Therefore, I decided to develop the MacIntyre s thesis according to which the recognition of the vulnerability and dependence is essential for the development of an individual as Independent Practical Reasoner. Moral philosophy, therefore, draws attention to the existence of virtues of dependent rational animals, whose features of dependence, rationality and animality should be understood within a system of reciprocal human relations of solidarity and willingness to receive help. An individual is the achievement of a community that is working through specific supportive relations, where the individual is located in the middle of a network of reciprocal relations, through which it is able to acquire the willingness to give, in return for it has received from others. In the words of MacIntyre, Independent Practical Reasoner is based on the community of individuals actually structurally dependent and beholden to others, where interpersonal relationships to give and receive settle criteria for the rational society upon pursuit of authentic human goods.
