This article mentions the most important myths and misunderstandings about the nature of research in administration, which according to experience and referencing that makes the author, are widely disseminated in academic circles in Colombia and that, according to some evidence, Also present to some extent in some other Latin American countries. Also sets out basic ideas aimed at clarifying them. The intention is to contribute to take consciousness of the existence of such beliefs and his elucidation.
