This document is the product of research in the region of the Mojana in the Colombian Caribbean, trying to improve and make the problems are affecting the region due to the periodic floods that are presented year after year delaying the production activities, therefore the forced displacement of the community caused by floods Therefore we collected and analyzed information about natives Zenues. Bearing in mind factors as social, economic, geographical, water management and social organization, also studied cases round the world that have similar characteristics Based on this information and giving priority to water management by Zenues some alternatives can contribute to a better use and control of floods that happen in the region of the Mojana. These alternatives include the construction and maintenance of infrastructure and elements in the area, being friendly and kind to the environment without affect the sustainability in the people.
