In recent years in Colombia, governmental programs have been implemented in order to take care of the victims of the armed conflict. These programs have established various forms of connections among the government, the victims and the civil society. The relations established set up a specific type of victim, which responds preponderantly to politic and technobureaucratic interests. Symbolic place that determines identity divisions in communities, individuals and victim’s organizations, creating tensions that end up characterizing the relations among the estate, the society and the victims. This article aims to describe the tensions given in the mentioned relations and its implications on the historical task of Colombia of fully amending the victims in order to open possible paths towards reconciliation.
