The present article will talk about students´ learning styles from the Corporacion Universitaria Minuto de Dios, in Bogota Campus, Colombia, in a virtual education environment. This study is based on the Kolb´s theoretical model (1984), and following a quantitative research methodology, non-experimental, transversal and descriptive research. The study analysis was developed on the application of several instruments to the students who were enrolled in the course of Values of Leadership, course that is offered through the Moodle e-learning platform. The instruments applied to gather data were: Kolb´s Inventory to students, a research sample to tutors, and a content analysis table. Among the results of the study found was that the predominant learning style among the students of this higher education institution is divergent, characterized by the interest to help other people and the capacity to visualize things from different perspectives (Kolb, 1984b); on the other side, an analysis was applied to the Moodle e-learning platform, the results showed that the design of the course gave importance to a convergent learning style.
