The marches and protests at Universidad Industrial de Santander in the 1960s were among the most representative in the Colombian student protest movement. This article proposes a new approach to the 1964 march from Bucaramanga to Bogota. The testimonies of some of the protagonists of those events provide a collective memory that can hardly be grasped through official documents or media sources.
