In current economic dynamics, the pivotal role played by technological innovation with regards to entrepreneurial competitiveness, development and economic growth is widely recognized and accepted. The objective of this paper is to analyze the process of technological innovation and change, as a socio-economic process, from an economic and entrepreneurial perspective. The study will be based on the review of the theoretical of he who could be called the father of an economy of technological innovation and change.
