Universidad de Antioquia, as requested by Secretaria de Educacion para la Cultura de Antioquia, is in charge of the participative construction of an administrative model in the State of Antioquia’s sub-regions of Bajo Cauca, West, and South West. Specifically, this project pretends to support the development of an architectural design for Ciudadela Panzenu, located in Caucasia (Bajo Cauca), in conjunction with a team of professionals of Universidad Nacional de Colombia at Medellin. From this experience, and from the understanding of educational/cultural citadels as a concept that integrates, under the same meaning, administrative models and socio-cultural infrastructures, the articulation between architectural an pedagogical models is analyzed, in order to propose a political and poetical meaning of life and of the relations between pedagogy, culture, education, territory, and local/regional development.
