Traditionally, inventory management has been taught using static exercises, and generally with a stabl e demand pattern; however, in reality, inventories' behavior in dynamic and demand patterns are variable. Achie ving a learning that is close to reality is difficult, bec ause of the time and the complexity of it, but ther e are tools that can help in this process. One of this tools is the busi ness game, in which close to reality business situa tions are simulated and the user can interact; this leads to achieve more motivation, learning and profound lear ning. Using the systems dynamics, methodology that allows the development of simulators, a business game was done to be used as an academic tool that supports the processe s of teaching-learning of inventory management with variable demand and that can be used in the class of industr ial logistics. This work presents the business game , its characteristics, its development methodology and a pedagogical purpose for the application of the game in class.
