The aim of this study was to determine the effect of geometrical instruction on flat representation of multicube modules in a group of students. The study uses a quantitative, preexperimental design with pretest and posttest with only one group. The subjects, selected by intentional sampling, were students of first semester of Industrial Design Program, aged between 17 and 22 years. The class analyzes printed 3D shapes and reads the instructions to make 2D and 3D drawings, related to issues of elementary geometry. The W Mann-Whitney test was administered to the scores of the tests in order to compare medians. There were significant differences between the scores of the pretest and the posttest with a significance level of 97%. The methodology increased significantly the production of flat representations of multicube modules.
