A 35 year old male patient with no systemic compromise assists for a consultation at the graduate studies clinic of the school of dentistry of Javeriana University due to inconformity regarding aesthetics, mastication, and general sensitivity to cold. In his eating habits, he refers to drink up to 2lts of Coca Cola and daily smoke 20 cigarettes. The patient with severe dental wear out presents unique changes which must be handled making a thorough diagnosis, treatment planning and a methodical restoration to obtain results with a favorable and predictable prognosis. In this case, the loss of dental tissues etiology is a multifactorial one, where we find a combination of chemical erosion due to a diet and bruxism, which are associated with several problems such as hypersensitivity, excessive reduction of the clinical crown, and changes in the occlusal scheme and aesthetics, which all affect directly on the patients lifestyle. Literature supports diverse methods for the handling of patients with severe wear out, depending on the clinical findings of each case and the behavior of the different materials we can use in oral rehabilitation. In this clinical report, the patient above mentioned is described with a history of bruxism, dental erosion and occlusal disharmony, whom is integrally rehabilitated with individual crowns, made of aesthetic material (Procera Alumina, Metal-Ceramic), giving him back an occlusal scheme and change in his habits. The objective of this treatment was to prevent a mayor loss of dental tissue and the improvement in function and appearance of the patient.
