We describe pollen from 26 genera of Asteraceae which belong to six tribes: Heliantheae (10), Eupatorieae (6), Vernonieae (6), Senecioneae (2), Mutisieae (1) and Inulineae (1). Tricolporate grains were dominant, but tetracolporate grains also appears. All grains are tectate and the most common sculpture type was echinate.
