To approach the reality of the New Ecclesial Movements in an appropriate manner we must first clarify concepts and clear away prejudices. In this way we can understand what these movements represent, in their maturity, as educational environments where it is possible to encounter Christ and live according to His teachings, all of this within a community. Furthermore, we look more closely at the specific contribution of the new movements to the mission of the Church and the new evangelization.
