The document presents the results of the research carried out on mobility in Ibague, an intermediate Colombian city located in the center of the country. The importance of the subject is associated with the worldwide rise of the bicycle as a means of sustainable transport and as a factor of cohesion, attractiveness and cultural development. From a qualitative approach, the factors that intervene in the phenomenon of mobility in the city were systematically identified; knowing the reality of the bike-user and its mobilization mechanism in the urban area of the city and defining a new mobility alternative for the city were part of the purposes. The exercise of inquiry carried out to know the advances that in countries of mobility such as Holland, Belgium, Mexico, Chile and Colombia, is remarkable, experiences that allow to conclude that more than thinking about building a city, it is imperative to build citizenship. Ibague in this sense, requires a change and the results of the research provide important inputs for decision making in the structuring of the inclusion cycle project within the framework of a new concept of inclusive mobility within the framework of sustainable cities. Course objective: Understand the sociocultural factors associated with the mobility component within the framework of inclusion cycle projects in the city of Ibague. -Specific objectives: - Analyze the different mobility systems existing in the world. - Determine the progress that in terms of cycle-inclusion have been generated in the citizenship in the municipality of Ibague. - Contribute elements for the structuring of a sustainable mobility project based on the recognition of the human dimension as a factor of urban spatial design in the city of Ibague. - Analyze the socio-economic and cultural impacts of the inclusion cycle on the roads of the city and its urban environment. - Contribute to the construction of the public policy of the inclusion cycle in the city of Ibague.
