espanolCondenado en sus origenes a servir como �boca de la ley�, el poder judicial al interior de la tradicion continental ha venido reclamando espacios de participacion cada vez mas relevantes a nivel politico, social y economico; cobrando un protagonismo que permite pensar, que si el siglo XIX fue el sigo de los parlamentos, el siglo XX el de los presidencialismos, el siglo XXI sera el siglo del poder judicial. El presente trabajo expone esta evolucion, haciendo enfasis en las condiciones politicas y economicas que han posibilitado este desarrollo hacia lo que se ha dado en denominar: la Revolucion Judicial o el Gobierno de lo Jueces. EnglishSentenced originally to serve as �mouth of the law,� the judiciary within the continental tradition has been calling for participation spaces increasingly relevant to political, social and economic development; taking a leadership that suggests, yes the nineteenth century was still parliaments, the twentieth century of presidential systems, the twenty-first century be the century of the judiciary. The present study describes these developments with emphasis on political and economic conditions that have enabled this development to what is now called: Judicial Revolution or the Government of Judges.
