In the present work, electrochemical reaction system was characterized by means of electrochemical techniques of cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry . We used equations of basic electrochemistry including the equations of Nernst, Cottrell and Tafel, in order to determine the diffusional and kinetic parameters during the process of deposition of Pd on a substrate of aluminum, using a Pd (NH 3 ) 4 Cl 2 electrolyte solution. The calculated parameters were the diffusion coefficient (D), transfer coefficient (α), kinetic rate (k o ), and exchange current (I 0 ).
