Tiger beetles (Coleoptera: Cicindelidae) species at the Museo Entomologico Francisco Luis Gallego (MEFLG) are registered by first time. 167 specimens in 8 genus and 27 species were identified, 24 new records for different Colombian states are reported. Some important aspects of the group's taxonomy and systematic are pointed. Additionally, species' biological and distributional comments are presented.
